Boston’s Vintage Artist
Vintage apparel is only one of my passions… and art just so happens to be one of my other obessions/pastimes/loves! (Did I ever mention I have a BA in Art and Design?) Anyway, I couldn’t help but falling for Boston artist Amanda Laurel Atkins’ work when I stumbled upon her Etsy shop the other day. Her intriguing drawings depict stunning female figures with vintage flare and juxtaposes them with bright colors and bold designs. She was kind enough to give me permission to share some of her work here, and if you’re looking for some new decor her prints are insanely priced at only $18.oo each! What fun drawings these are! Atkins certainly has an eye for design. My favorite has to be tatted up brunette in front of the circus tents, it reminds me of reading the book Water For Elephants. Plus I’m coveting her blue bathing suit!
